Does anybody have any experience working with these issues? I'm doing research on this topic and would like to see what others are doing, what patter scripts have been working for you, are you doing anything in addition to direct suggestion, etc.

Thanks!

Regress to cause then clean it up.

Thanks Patrick. I was looking forward to somebody saying that because I had that in mind too. One of the theories I encountered is that stage fright had to occur somewhere in early childhood. On the other hand, I had wondered if it is the result of the fight-or-flight mechanism activating -which could be a result of the latter or I wonder if it is simply the stress of the event, with no prior ISE, that could cause this. However, doing regression still can't hurt. Thanks for your thoughts, Patrick.

I have had success using NLP's Change Personal History to install a resource of competence in response to the stimulus that precipitates the undesirable state of anxiety.

Brian,
I did not see your response back in July.. sorry... When I work with someone on any stress issues, I look for two basic areas first. Is it behavioral (where it is caused by a previous experience) and/or situational (just stress from the situation. Once we know that, we decide how to address it.

I do work a lot with anxiety clients and had some with stage fright etc. I use 5-Path where I do a lot of regression to cause and the a lot of future progression, But i also use CBT, where i also do exposure and flooding, to practice doing it. I have great results most of the time
