Presenter: Jacob Bimblich, BCH, CI, OB (Brooklyn, NY), is a certified hypnotist by the NGH. He was past president of the New York Society for Ethical Hypnosis. He is the Executive Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Hypnosis and Holistic Sciences. He is a 20 year member of Mensa and past member of its Board of Directors. He has conducted many lectures and workshops at various institutions.In this presentation you will learn how aversion therapy is used to eliminate smoking, obesity, and other unwanted habits. The widespread use of aversion therapy in my practice might sometimes be a little controversial. The fact is that it is little understood, yet often overpraised. You will learn how aversion therapy really works and how it works so successfully in conjunction with the application of hypnosis. Presenter: Celeste Hackett, BCH (Family First Hypnosis & Dallas Hypnosis Career Training, Plano, TX), became a hypnotist after a career as a radio announcer. Personal Assessment Test For Client Success

Presenter: Richard Harte, DNGH, OB (Harte Associates, Inc., Boca Raton, FL), is Executive Director of The Harte Center for Hypnosis. He is a recognized certified hypnotist and cognitive behavioralist &pioneered the Harte-Coller ISQTM-Test, a test for measuring imaginal suggestibility. A recipient of the NGH Educator of the Year Award twice, he has designed group stress management, smoking cessation, and weight management programs. This presentation is a multi-dimensional process which measures an individual’s potential to persist. It is time we asked ourselves what happens to our clients after their sessions are complete. What kind of enforces does the client adhere to after their sessions? The Harte-Coller Imagination/Persistence Quotient may prove useful in predicting which of those clients are most likely to follow through with the techniques taught to them.

Esdaile Techniques For Every Hypnotist

Presenter: Ines Simpson, BCH, CI (Advanced Hypnotherapy & Training Institute, Parksville, BCH, Canada) became a certified hypnotist in 2000. She became a certified instructor in 2003 becoming the first NGH instructor in Western Canada. In 2004 she became NGH Board Certified and 2012 she became a council member of the Order of Braid. Ines has counseling and reconnective healing training. This presentation you will learn how to interact with the subconscious at the Esdaile level and other states achieved by attaining that depth. In the past little has been known about what is happening in the client’s mind. This level was used very successful in pain control. We now can interact with the client with two-way communication. A whole new area of thought is open now and only you can imagine where it could take the work you do now. Much more research in this area is continuing to be done..

Hypnosis for Parkinson’s Clients: A Case Study

Presenter: Michael Smith, CH (Las Vegas, NV) is a clinical psychologist and has an extensive background working with cancer patients using hypnosis to manage pain, relieve the side effects of chemotherapy and as a substitute for chemical anesthesia in surgery. In addition to his impressive menu of services at Qua Baths & Spa (Caesars Palace), he is a university lecturer and presents seminars for medical professionals on hypnosis and the mind/body connection.This program has grown out of a small study of the application of hypnosis with Parkinson’s patients. This is a report that (ongoing) study including clips from our video files of a study participant. During this session you will learn about Parkinson’s symptoms and get a medical overview of the treatment and progression of the disease. We will discuss the hypnosis options for relaxation and improve quality of life for these patients.
